Summer Camp 2009
A summer camp for ingenious creators and avant-garde artists (ages 8 – 11)
You don’t need to be the next Rembrandt to be creative… Art should be fun! Our mission at Clever Creators Camp is to explore creativity rather than deliver formal training in traditional methods…though we do incorporate traditional mediums. A blank canvas or an empty sheet of paper can be daunting to anyone. We strive to make creativity fun by using recycled materials, whimsically themed projects and probably lots of glitter!
A day in the life of a kid should always include plenty of time running around a baseball field, kicking a ball or tossing a basketball in a game of horse. So, of course these fundamental activities are built into our daily schedule. We take full advantage of a large back yard connected to the studio and Brushrod Park on Shattuck Ave, which is merely 200 yards from camp. As long as the weather is nice, we will always set up the work tables in the backyard and dive into our creative projects outside in the fresh air.
To ensure that your child gets the attention and direction they deserve, we keep the class size small. We limit our sessions to ten campers per week and there are two trained art teachers working with your child each day!

The Basics
Each session runs for one week.

Camp is held 3 days each week, M,W,F.
Camp is held 9am – 4pm.
Pre and after care available at additional cost.
The cost is $175 each weekly session.
You may sign up for one week or all eleven sessions.
Summer Session begin Monday June 15th.
Last Session begins Monday August 24th.
Kids should bring lunch and a snack.
We provide all Art Material.
